I am a Newcastle-based artist, art teacher and mum, who graduated from UNSW College of fine arts in 2005. Since then, I have been involved in group and solo exhibitions and art prizes in Sydney and Newcastle. In my art practice, I am interested in the interplay of light, pattern and colour in the world around me. I am often drawn to explore the whimsical and mysterious shapes created by light as it interacts with objects. Through these elements, visual stories are generated in the streets I walk in, the beaches I swim in and the places I travel.
